Guests will load a shuttle bus and make their way to Hyalite Reservoir, the site of the very first Storyhill Fests (and where Chris and Leslie got married). Located 11 miles south of town in the Gallatin National Forest, the reservoir was constructed in the late 1940’s and enlarged in 1993. Most recently, a covered picnic pavilion was built on the western shoreline, where we will set up for the evening. Everyone will have the option of some hiking on the lake trails or simply enjoying the fresh air and views.
A dinner is included from one of Bozeman’s food trucks and then we’ll light the campfire and have our very own mini Storyhill Fest. We’ll perform songs, share stories and top off the evening with treats around the campfire. After the sun fades, we’ll bus back down to town.
Day pass includes round-trip transportation from Bozeman to Hyalite, dinner at the pavilion, music around the campfire and conversation with Storyhill. The bus will leave The LARK Hotel at 3:00 p.m. and return at 10:00 p.m.
